Another great benefit of drinking lots of water is you feel full which can stop any unwanted snacking.

Avoid staving your self
Staving yourself is one of the worst things you can do when it comes to managing your weight. Any time you stave your of any thing be that water or food your body switches to starvation mode which means the body retains more fat and fluid to deal with the drop in food intake. You should always aim to eat at least every few hours this will also help stabilize your blood sugar levels.
